Ginn Group Consulting is pleased to introduce Paul Morin, M.Ed., as a trusted associate and colleague who will elevate the incredible impact of the SMART Model in rural Pickens County Alabama and throughout the state as Alabama SMART Advisor Co-Chair, Alabama SMART Task Force—Health, Education, and Workforce Strategic Integration. Because of his role as the Network Lead for Afterschool programs across the state of Alabama, Paul already understands the benefits of the SMART Model. The Model was brought to and replicated in the state with support from the University of Alabama and significant financial contributions from the Model’s Legacy Sponsor, CVS Health and Patron Partner, Aramark.
His role with the Alabama Task Force will organize the existing advocacy from Congresswoman Terri Sewell (AL-7), Superintendents, and leaders and stakeholders from across the state including UA, the Alabama Governor’s office, the Blackbelt Community Foundation, and many more who have voiced their acknowledgement of the profound impact SMART Clinics have on Alabama schools’ populations.
For over 30 years Paul has served as an educator in the corporate, non-profit, and traditional educational sectors. Paul has worked with schools both nationally and internationally in Central and South America and Africa. His experiences are prodigious and widely diverse, as they include both business acumen and his endeavors to ensure educational, operational, and institutional effectiveness.
He holds a Bachelor of Music and Education from Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama, and a Master of Curriculum Instruction and Design from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
